ABOUT US
The Anointed Church of Christ was established in February 1997. Before the formation, my wife and I were worshipping in a white garment Church. While there, I saw through dreams and visions on many occasions that I have been chosen and called not only to serve God but also to start a Pentecostal Church. Apart from direct messages from God, many Prophets of God were sent to me to confirm this call. Despite dreams, vision and confirmation through Prophets, I kept deferring answers to the call and was not ready to commence.
But a particular and a memorable night came that I heard the small audible voice of God, that, I should leave the white garment Church in which I was serving and thereafter, I and my family started worshipping in our 3 bedrooms apartment. We normally have morning and night devotions and night vigil every Friday and while in a vigil those who are hungry and thirsty for the word of God will come knocking at our doors to worship with us but we often turned them down.
In the morning of first Sunday, February 1997, while we were worshipping God in our sitting room, there emerged two ministers of God namely pastor Olowolaju and Lady Evangelist Oluwafemi with a special message from God. Pastor Olowolaju told us that the Lord God said we should stop turning people down from worshipping with us and that the lord says he should inaugurate our Church that day.
Later on, God directed through a message, delivered by Lady Evangelist Oluwafemi, that, we should have 40 days fasting and prayers and before the fasting and prayers came to conclusion, God miraculously provided a land for us and on this land we have our 2 story building, where we worship God. Not only this, we have been able to have other lands for our branches.
